As a product under the category of EMULSION EXPLOSIVES, Powergel Magnum 365 is a highly water resistant packaged explosive designed for priming applications and as a high energy column explosive in surface and underground mining.

Powergel Magnum 365 is suitable for use at all kind of rock conditions. It is designed to offer maximum effective performance along with high safety features.

It’s an intimate mixture of oxidizers and carbonacous fuels made as water in oil type of emulsions. The performance of the Emulsions explosives makes them as superior products compared to available slurry based explosives. The high strength and VOD of Emulsion explosives make them as a good product which matches in the performance of Gelatin with no headaches attached.

Powergel Magnum 365 is the highest performance product with its increased effective energy compared to other emulsion based explosives.

HIGH SAFETY FEATURES
Besides its high performance capabilities Powergel Magnum 365 has the highest safety features. It is very safe against initiation by friction and impact. Also, it has a very high water resistance.

INITIATION
Powergel Magnum 365 should be initiated by No.8* detonators. Initiating by detonating cord (minimum 10 g PETN/m), cartridge and cord should have an intimate contact. It should not be initiated under -15 °C.

STORAGE
Powergel Magnum 365 has a storage life up to 12 months in approved magazines.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
Technical Properties given, are the ideal values. The velocity of detonation depends on cartridge diameter and cartridge confinement (confined or unconfined). The detonation pressure and heat is a function of velocity of detonation.
